Ms Theodora Lam
holds a M.Soc.Sc. in Geography and B.A. (Hons) from the National
University of Singapore. She also obtained a B.Soc.Sc. from the
University of Waikato. Her Masters thesis focused on the increasing
mobility of knowledge through the transnationalisation of a
Singapore-style education system as well as the educators themselves.
Her research interests cover transnationalism, migration, gender studies
and geographical education. Theodora also holds a Diploma in Education
(Credit) from the National Institute of Education and has worked
previously as a teacher. Her publications include journal articles in
Asian and Pacific Migration Journal (with Prof Brenda Yeoh and Dr. Lisa
Law) as well as in Asia Pacific Viewpoint (with Prof Brenda Yeoh).
