APN Training Workshop
HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OVER THE LIFE COURSE
12 January – 13 February 2004 *

The workshop is organized by the Asian MetaCentre for Population and Sustainable Development
and the College of Population Studies, Chulalongkorn University.

This training workshop will examine the social, psychological and physical aspects of health and well-being from adolescence through old age as well as appropriate methodologies for research on this theme. A multi-disciplinary approach (Demography, Statistics, Sociology, Social Psychology, Health Sciences and Research Methodologies) will be used to explore how socio-demographic and psychological factors relate to health and well-being. An important goal of the workshop will be for participants to develop a research proposal on a related topic of interest to them. Thus training and guidance related to research proposal writing will also be a central workshop component.
