Countries

The four study countries were carefully chosen to reflect a variety of contexts. In each of the four countries, two provinces/districts known to have high levels of transnational outmigration have been purposively selected.

- Bulacan and Laguna, Philippines
- Lampang and Udonthani, Thailand
- Hai Duong and Thai Binh, Vietnam
